CREDITO FONDIARIO HAS WORKED WITH QUAESTIO ON IMPAIRED CREDIT PORTFOLIOS OF THE THREE SO-CALLED “GOODBANKS”

Quaestio Capital Management SGR, the manager of the Atlante II Fund, announced that it has closed, on behalf of the Fund, the securitisation transaction for the acquisition of about Euro 2.2 billion of impaired exposures (nominal value) by Nuova Banche Marche, S.p.A., Nuova Banca dell’Etruria S.p.A. and Nuova Cassa di Risparmio di Chieti di S.p.A..

Credito Fondiario, working for Quaestio Capital Management SGR, structured the transaction in its capacity as Arranger of the securitisation, carried out the due diligence on the portfolio and contributed to its pricing.

Credito Fondiario is the Master Servicer for the three securitisations - respectively of non-performing exposures, of unlikely-to-pay bank credits and of impaired leasing - closed on May 10 with the issue and subscription of the securities.

The transaction presents important innovative aspects of financial structuring that have allowed to include in the portfolio, besides NPLs and unlikely-to-pay, impaired leasing receivables, together with underlying assets and contracts.
