CREDITO FONDIARIO WORKS ALONGSIDE QUAESTIO ON THE IMPAIRED CREDIT PORTFOLIO OF CARIFERRARA

Quaestio Capital Management SGR, the manager of the Atlante II Fund, announced that it has signed an agreement, on behalf of the Fund, for the purchase of the portfolio of Euro 343 million of impaired loans held by Nuova Cassa di Risparmio di Ferrara S.p.A, as part of a transaction which will be concluded with the Fund subscribing to notes issued by a securitisation vehicle, thus enabling the sale of the bank to BPER.

The portfolio, comprising both unlikely to pay (UTP) and non performing loans, consists of approximately 48% of receivables secured by real estate and 52% of unsecured positions, and also includes leasing receivables.

Credito Fondiario, in line with the similar activities performed in the context of the ongoing transaction involving the so-called GoodBanks, working for Quaestio Capital Management SGR, structured the transaction in its capacity as Arranger of the securitisations, carried out the due diligence on the portfolio and contributed to its pricing.

Credito Fondiario provides Master Servicing and Special Servicer Oversight services for the two securitisations.
