Covid-19 financial support

REGULATION
Interventions in support of performing customers economically affected by the Covid-19 epidemic

Credito Fondiario S.p.A., in the context of the Covid-19 emergency, implemented the Government’s interventions as well as the ABI agreement, through which support measures for micro, small and medium enterprises and individuals with performing loans economically affected by the impact of the epidemic on our Country, were provided.

Companies and natural persons meeting the requested requirements have the possibility to access to the tools provided by:

  • The “Cura Italia” Law Decree containing support measures for micro, small and medium enterprises (including self-employed VAT holders, including professionals and individual companies), which self-certify to have been temporally subjected to liquidity shortages due to the Covid-19 epidemic, including the possibility to ask for the suspension until 30 September 2020 of payments or leasing rents related to loans and other financing solutions. To access the measures, the applicant must not have debt positions classified as non performing loans.
  • Solidarity Fund for the purchase of the first home loans (so-called “Fondo Gasparrini”) – providing the possibility for the holders of loan granted for the purchase of a real estate used as main residence to ask for the suspension of loan payments, in the event of temporary difficulty situations, destined to adversely affect the overall income of the household. Following the Covid-19 emergency, the Fund measures have been extended also to the employees who have been subjected to a suspension or reduction of the working time for a period of at least 30 days and to self-employed workers and professionals (including traders and craftsmen) who have been subjected to a decrease of their revenue of more than 33% as compared to the revenue of the 2019 4Q.
  • Addendum to the ABI Agreement for SMEs – providing interventions in support of micro, small and medium enterprises (including self-employed VAT holders, among whom professionals and individual companies) who are facing the Covid-19 emergency, including the possibility of suspending the capital share or extend the maturity of the loans outstanding as of 31 January 2020. To access the measures, the applicant must not have debt positions classified as non performing loans.
  • New Agreement between ABI and the Consumers’ Association (signed on 21 April 2020) – providing for the possibility to suspend, for up to 12 months, the capital share of real estate secured loans payments and other instalment repayment loans granted before 31 January 2020 to natural persons, self-employed workers and professionals who do not qualify for the benefits provided by the so-called “Fondo Gasparrini”. In order to access the measures, the applicant mustn’t have debt positions classified as non-performing loans.
